The TELUS Future Friendly Home (FFH) Services team is looking for a dynamic and passionate leader to bring market leading video entertainment experiences to customers that will catapult TELUS as the "best video entertainment experience" in Canada.

The TELUS FFH Services team is very fortunate to have an incredibly talented team of technical subject matter experts across a vast medium of today's most popular devices. As a senior member of this high-performance team, you will establish and execute on key product roadmaps specifically focused on best-in-class set-top-box (STB) devices and ecosystems that enable superior video entertainment experiences to TELUS customers. The payoff? Establishing TELUS as the best video entertainment experience in Canada, underpinned by a burning desire to maintain and enhance our leadership position for years to come.

    •Collaborating with TELUS' external vendor partners, you drive best-in-class video entertainment experiences to market via your in-depth experience and know-how on specifying, certifying, and testing Android TV based and other set-top-box (STB) device types for use within best-in-class video entertainment platforms •Collaborating with internal TELUS stakeholder teams, you ensure the timely delivery of these best-in-class video entertainment experiences are underpinned by the power of TELUS' brand and meet our customers' expectations of a highly-reliable, always-on service


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •You have in-depth experience in specifying, certifying, integrating and testing Android TV based and other set-top-box (STB) device types for use within best-in-class video entertainment platforms •You have experience in developing and implementing device life-cycle roadmaps, in liaison with TELUS' external vendor partners •You have experience in troubleshooting video entertainment applications and in optimizing video playback across different digital rights management (DRM) technologies resident on STB devices •You understand the crucial role analytics and instrumentation play in supporting a highly-reliable, always-on video entertainment service •You are never satisfied with the status quo and always seek and act on feedback to improve client experiences and the internal processes by which we bring market leading client experiences to market

    •You have a good understanding of current TELUS work processes and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive best-in-class client outcomes •You have a post-secondary degree in Engineering or Computing Science, underpinned by 5+ years of practical experience in delivering best-in-class video entertainment experiences
