The Innovations & Programs team, within Broadband Networks, is on a mission to transform - for the better - how we offer compelling services, products, and in-home equipment to delight wireline customers.

This team is responsible for driving operational innovation and transformation initiatives that deliver superior outcomes for all stakeholders.

Working with a cross section of teams from Technology Strategy, Customer Solutions Delivery, and Customer Experience, the Innovations & Programs team leads the strategy, development and program execution to introduce leading-edge solutions that support reliable in-home service quality and operational efficiency.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be leading end to end the Fibre Technolgy Life Cycle Management program, with focus on strategy and business case development, initiatives prioritization, and projects implementation. You will help materialize a vision to make in-home fibre technology a non-intrusive item in the background, bringing further to the foreground TELUS' differentiated service offers.

You will collaborate with both a core program team and cross-functional teams to support the following key activities:
    •Bring to life TELUS' Warm Home 2.0 strategy that enables customers to self-activate Fibre based services in minutes •Re-imagine to simplify our in-home and in-business fibre service architecture, guided by TELUS' Design Language, to reduce install times and customer effort •Be part of a set size improvement in Wi-Fi customer experience championing TELUS' Reliability Principles authored by Darren Entwistle, TELUS President & Chief Executive Officer •Influence and shape practices, standards and procedures for passive technology in fibre eligible homes and business •Steer and guide active equipment lifecycle management to ensure the latest technology is available to fibre customers, we refurbish mature equipment were it makes sense, and retire legacy equipment

    •Reinvigorate Warm Home stakeholders by planning, implementing, and socializing the success of a Warm Home 2.0 pilot •Establish a collection of multi-year strategies for Wi-Fi performance evolution, Warm Home 2.0, In Premise Service Architecture simplification, and Success Based Capital Efficiencies •Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, roadblock removal, and knowledge sharing to achieve business outcomes in each existing and new program pillars •Identify, showcase, and incubate new technologies and solutions to support multi-year strategies •Facilitate dynamic workshops and deep-dives to drive forward initiatives •Using your business and financial acumen to lead the creation of business cases •Provide accurate and timely target/objective updates to executive audiences that track progress towards fibre technology life cycle management goals


Qualifications:

    •Flexible presentation & communication skills for executive & frontline audiences •Ability to navigate complex teams and collaborate with influence, with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders to gain buy-in •A proven track record for consistently delivering results and effectively meeting program milestones •Outstanding business & financial acumen with the ability to anticipate and develop strategies in a rapidly evolving telecommunication industry •Strong analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with superior ability to creatively solve problems •Recipient of a bachelor degree or post-secondary diploma in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience •Project Management certifications would be an asset

    •Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or equivalent experience •Experience bringing new technology to market
