Within the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) team, the Copper to Fibre (C2F) Migrations program is a strategic priority for our organization. We are looking for dynamic and innovative leaders, with a knack for challenging the status quo. Our focus is on TELUS wide migration activities that advantage our legacy Future Friendly Home (FFH) copper customers with a move to PureFibre.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will have program responsibility for the end to end completion of customer migrations from copper to the TELUS PureFibre network. All facets of tracking the customer journey from network build to sale and install of services are required. Each day, this team conquers every stage of the project lifecycle. Step by step, from initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing of projects, no detail escapes our group.
The team also lays claim to having a very special capability, drawing in, collaborating with, and inspiring team members from different groups across the organization. Together, joining forces as one team, we deliver on commitments and roll up our sleeves when required in order to maintain the highest standard of customer experience for those who have to change over their services to a new network. When challenges arise, you'll overcome these by seeking to understand, thinking creatively, communicating, negotiating and escalating when appropriate. Under your leadership, teams will deliver all projects on time, on budget and within scope, and elevating our brand in migration communities.Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
•Lead copper migration activities ensuring that all customers move to PureFibre
•Seek out and develop solutions to enhance the efficacy of our migration projects
•Understand all customer segments and scenarios within migration, maintaining a detailed level of program tracking
•Manage cross functional initiatives with all project stakeholders, from the initial program kickoff to the decommissioning of the copper network
•Demonstrate measured progress using a performance scorecard with defined deliverables for customer experience, marketing impact, program schedules, and stakeholder engagement
•Contribute to stakeholder Capex & Opex budget planning, lead business case developments and governance requirements
•Manage customer escalations & program roadblocks to resolve in strategic, creative and effective ways
•Identifying continuous improvement opportunities
•Project Management: proven track record leading and delivering large projects acting as the accountable project prime; collaborate across teams to establish strategic plans, objectives and develop integrated project plan; deliver project management methodologies, and implement best practices
•Drive change as or when required and not be hesitant to "roll up your sleeves" to get job done
•Effective presentation development and delivery skills for audiences at various levels & settings
•Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills
•Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder agreement, solve problems, and motivate people to take action, including virtual team members
•Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and gain buy-in
•Outstanding business acumen with the ability to anticipate and develop strategies in a rapidly evolving telecommunication industry Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Recognized for implementing cross-functional programs and leading change initiatives
•Confident in engaging a broad set of stakeholders and collaborating with all levels of the leadership team
•Strong business acumen, analytical and problem solving skills
•Known for expertise with MS Excel and PowerPoint and the Google suite of tools
•Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience Who is TELUS?
