Senior Project Manager opportunity with a well respected, Vancouver based, Civil Contractor, $110,000-$140,000
Your new company
Our client, a family owned Civil Contractor based in the Lower Mainland, is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Project Manager/Estimator to their management team. The company has been in operation for over 25 years and is well established here in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. They deal with a wide range of projects including; site servicing, utility installation, subdivisions, environmental, road building and site development. Projects usually range anywhere between $500k - $25m.
Your new role
As Senior Project Manager/Estimator, you will be responsible for proactively sourcing projects to bid, completing proposals, submitting tenders and then, if successful, managing the project through to completion. You will ensure that the projects is running to schedule, working closely with the client, consultants and sub-trades to ensure any problems are addressed quickly and keeping the project on budget.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years Project Management/Estimating experience in the Civil Construction industry working on similar projects here in BC. You will hold a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or hold a relevant technical diploma.
