Hays Property & Real Estate is excited to represent one of Alberta's leading Commercial Property Management firms. We are sourcing for a Senior Property manager to look after a growing Commercial Portfolio

Your new role
Reporting to the Vice President, the Senior Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of mixed commercial assets, including office, retail and industrial properties in Calgary. Tenant relations and maintenance on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for the following duties, and other assigned duties as requested: to prepare monthly reports for both owners on all project and tenant matters. You will be responsible for the preparation of regular reporting on budgets and forecasting as well as keeping in line with the business plan and overall corporate strategy. You will be responsible to develop and maintain tenant relations, to understand unique tenant needs and ensure they are being serviced. The Senior Property Manager will track all lease documentation, specifically lease maturities. You will assist with collections and liaise with other departments as necessary to resolve all property and tenant needs in an efficient and effective manner, within budget. You will ensure all property management policies, procedures and operations are conducted effectively.

What you'll need to succeed
As the Senior Property Manager, you will have a minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in a related area of Commercial Real Estate, with at least 10 in a Management position. You will have experience working within a multidisciplinary team whilst maintaining oversight of a portfolio of owned and / or managed assets. You will have a well-rounded exposure to leasing, capital projects, property management and financial reporting and analysis.
You will take responsibility for your own budgeting and reporting as well as leading others in the department around you as well as having strong verbal and written communication skills. A Real Estate License is required for this position. an RPA or CPM designation considered an asset.
