Job Description
WSP is seeking a dynamite Senior Proposal Coordinator to join our Property & Buildings Team! This full-time position can be located in our Calgary office. We are also open to candidates based in Edmonton or Saskatoon. Reporting to the Proposal Team Lead for Western Canada, the successful candidate will assist the department's senior managers in ensuring that proposals are delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner.

A day in the life...
- On all proposals, develop a proposal outline document, schedule/facilitate contributions of all parties, ensure RFP compliance, draft standard proposal sections, facilitate reviews, and perform quality control on final document.
- As a lead on a proposal, be responsible for managing all aspects of proposal creation ensuring required timelines are met.
- Participate in proposal strategy and review meetings. Where several disciplines are involved in a submission, coordinate the information of the various disciplines in such a manner that the submission has a uniform and coherent appearance.
- Write various proposal sections, including executive summaries, project descriptions (qualification summaries), matrices and CVs as required.
- Assist with the creation and application of proposal development tools, evaluation criteria, standardized content and templates.
- Assist with managing, monitoring, and maintaining the proposal database, files, and systems through appropriate information management systems.
- Keep accurate records on proposals in progress, completed, wins, losses, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Must possess 6-10 years of experience in proposal development or a similar environment and be able to work with a variety of organizational stakeholders.
- Have obtained a post-graduate, university or another professional degree
- Candidates with previous experience working in Engineering Consulting or Professional Services firms are preferred.
- A self-motivated team member, who is flexible, demonstrates initiative to go above and beyond the task at hand, effectively multitasks and who is capable of handling shifting priorities within a demanding deadline-orientated environment.
- Possess strong computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop is desirable.
- Strong English language and writing skills - including attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit material, as well as an aptitude for understanding technical terminology.
- Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines as required.
- Ability to work in a team environment, working towards common goals and objectives.
