What you can expect to do here:

You will lead multi-disciplinary reclamation projects from planning through execution and closure.
You will develop and advance the reclamation team strategy.
You will develop and implement site-specific reclamation plans, including soil handling, revegetation, erosion control, and habitat restoration.
You will oversee reclamation activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and client expectations.
You will prepare technical reports, regulatory submissions, and closure documentation.
You will collaborate with clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, and internal teams to ensure project success.
You will mentor junior and intermediate staff.
You will contribute to business development through proposal writing and client engagement.

What you'll bring to WSP:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Ecology, or equivalent experience in reclamation.
Minimum 10 years of experience in land reclamation, preferably in consulting or resource sectors.
Strong knowledge of provincial and federal reclamation standards and permitting processes.
Demonstrated experience managing field programs and supervising contractors.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Eligibility for professional designation (e.g., P.Ag., P.Biol., R.P.Bio., or equivalent).
