As a MITS (Managed IT Services) and UC (Unified Communication) combination Specialist you will work closely with technical experts, partners, extended SMEs and Account Teams to identify sales opportunities, build solutions that meet complex business needs and develop multi-faceted strategies to grow revenue and market share.

What YOU will do:
    •Create value propositions using specific customer needs to achieve a desired outcome •Employ effective needs creation sales techniques to build and drive opportunities •Active involvement in the development of the business/account strategic plans with the account executive community •Make choices about resource utilization based on the strategic value and priority of opportunities •Assume responsibility for the facilitation of the solution development process and identification of other specialized disciplines in order to add value or differentiation (i.e. Network, Security, IoT, etc.) •Keep current with IT trends, key business issues, challenges and opportunities within the assigned vertical or geographical area to develop, implement and maintain account strategy that ensures customer satisfaction, growth and profitability •Take an active role as part the response and content creation team for RFI and RFP pursuits •Interact with Product Management and Solution Development teams to drive successful client engagements •Leverage the partner ecosystem to create new opportunities for TELUS, ensure deal registrations and joint alignment with our customers

How YOU will be successful:
    •Enthusiastically articulate and evangelize the TELUS Cloud, UC and managed/hosted services offerings and value proposition •Develop and execute a regular contact plan for managed services customers; escalate any service issues to Client Service Management and the Account Team •Manage a range of opportunities within Sales Force that includes the associated reporting and account planning to support the achievement of sales objectives •Maintain high levels of knowledge regarding our customers and their specific industries, be able to articulate the TELUS value proposition to them as it relates to solving their industry issues •Engage and work closely with extended team members including Account Managers and the broader account team (other sales specialists, Cloud solution architects, product managers, operations managers, service managers, and others) in order deliver to required support and value for our clients •Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle, ensuring TELUS' role as a trusted advisor •Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, contracts, and supporting documentation •Negotiate contracts and agreements


Qualifications:


What YOU bring to the table:
    •Working knowledge of data center technologies, excellent understanding of cloud and hosting value propositions, working knowledge of converged infrastructure such as Cisco UCS and NetApp •Working knowledge in Unified Communications inclusive of LAN, Voice, Video, Instant Messaging, Presence and Call Centre Applications •Foundational knowledge of the telecommunications industry in areas such as WAN, IP telephony, and WiFi technologies •Proven ability to uncover and understand our client's business issues, goals and objectives and concerns •Sales Capabilities/Professionalism - demonstrated success selling complex solutions, create new ways to improve client satisfaction through applying knowledge of trends to generate sales
