Qualifications:


What you will do:
    Grow and manage a significant funnel:
      •Identify, initiate and qualify opportunities to meet growth and revenue targets •Continuously focus on moving opportunities through the sales cycle •Ensure the retention and growth of existing security solutions contracts •Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, contracts and supporting documentation •Negotiate contracts and agreements •Engage and work closely with extended account team members including Account Managers and the greater account team (other sales specialists, security solution architects, product managers, operations managers, service managers and others) to actively pursue a targeted list of customers to drive forward opportunities for the team •Handle and forward technical and operations questions or issues that may arise during a sales pursuit and manage appropriate customer expectations throughout the sales cycle, ensuring TELUS' role as a trusted advisor
    Consult and advise business customers on the value of TELUS products and services:
      •Managed Security Services •Security Tech Hardware and professional services •Consulting Security Services
    Relationship building:
      •Establish effective relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels of your client's organization •Develop lasting and valued business relationships with clients and industry influencers •Build a roadmap of your client's business based on deep knowledge of their Information Security •Maintain high levels of knowledge and expertise regarding our customers, their industries, associated risk, managed services and information security technology opportunities •Build and extend channel partnerships across multiple vendors, understand their offering and provide holistic solutions for Telus clients
