We currently have an excellent career opportunity for Senior Tax Staff candidates in our Mobility tax team. Mobility services include Canadian and US personal income and social security tax compliance and advisory services; mobility policy design; executive compensation advice; employer tax advice; and global coordination. Using cutting-edge technology and working with team-oriented colleagues, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting internationally mobile employees of our clients with their Canadian and US personal tax compliance. Our practice is one of the world's largest and has talented and innovative professionals dedicated to teamwork and exceptional client service. Your key responsibilities
• Prepare complex Canadian and US personal income tax returns • Review Canadian and US personal income tax returns • Analyze client tax data to determine appropriate and optimal Canadian and US filing positions • Respond to Canadian and US tax authority notices through various means of correspondence • Work directly with clients and build long term relationships • Conduct tax consultations to advise on Canadian and US tax implications of cross-border international assignments/business travel and/or relocations • Review estimated hypothetical tax withholding, tax estimates and tax equalization calculations • Provide guidance to clients on payroll withholding and payroll requirements • Research and draft emails/memos related to various tax topics • Contribute to the national education program by preparing and/or delivering tax technical material • Providing mentoring, coaching and formal feedback to junior team members • Leverage technology and automation to maximize productivity • Contribute to a flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented culture that fosters personal development Skills and attributes for success

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in business/accounting or a related field • Minimum two years of US and/or Canadian personal tax experience • Experience with developing junior team members through formal or informal methods • Experience working directly with clients/customers, ideally in a professional setting • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel What we look for
