As part of the Optik Triage and Analysis Team you are a senior professional who thrives on analyzing and enhancing platforms from a technology perspective. Your role will be to analyse and enhance our Optik TV platform and ensure potential threats are proactively mitigated. You have a passion for implementing new solutions and remediating existing configurations. You will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Microsoft technology and solutions. This opportunity will allow you to make a difference in protecting the availability and integrity of TELUS TV services, information, and other assets.

•Provide systems administration and technical consultation for Optik TV Operations (Windows) middleware platform
•Plan, deploy, and support projects, and builds for both growth and sustainment
•Support operations and new evolving technologies while utilizing change management standards
•Work and share best practises with talented colleagues in a fun and fast paced team environment
•Work both independently and in a cross functional team environment
•Help ensure that our systems and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest standards
•Analyse system/application designs and implementations from a technology perspective; design and deploy solutions to problems that are identified
•Conduct reviews, evaluations, and risk assessments
•Development of improvement procedures, and strategies Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Support large scale, high availability services and applications
•Advanced to Expert level knowledge of core Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, IIS, SCCM, and SCOM)
•Proficiency with advanced troubleshooting tools such as packet sniffers and debuggers
•Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell)
•Proficiency with monitoring and reporting tools such as SCOM, Splunk, Power BI, Tableau, MS SQL etc
•Proficiency with analytics and ability to develop and communicate actionable plans
•Demonstration of ownership of the services supported
•Demonstration of progressive responsibility
•8-15 years of enterprise or telecommunications IT experience
•Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Great-to-haves
•Operational system administration, and infrastructure build and deployment experience in a large scale environment Who is TELUS?
