About the Opportunity

PREP has an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to join our team in Surrey, BC.  

In this role, you will report to the Service Manager, and you will be responsible for all aspects of customer service in the field as well as creating follow-up documentation of results.

In this hands-on role, you will be required to spend 30%-40% of your time traveling/working in the field. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting, testing, and repairing of PREP products in the field
  • Coordinating with the PREP supply chain and engineering department in regards to replacement parts
  • Preparing detailed field reports and notes
  • Assisting in preparing technical memos
  • Supporting customers directly with technical assistance and direction

In order to qualify for this role, you will be a Certified Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or an ASTTBC Technologist.You will also have relevant work experience with gearbox and power transmission products, mobile and stationary hydraulics, and on/off highway trucks.
