What you will do
Work simultaneously on multiple business opportunities as a subject matter expert providing technical and internal responses to the SOC to meet customer requirements
- Act as a senior technical advisor on new technology introduction, assess the impacts on the SOC Operations and work with every stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to production
- Lead our Release Management process by analyzing any versions released and work with our internal teams member until deployment. Work directly with our external vendors, escalade any system failure, bug or known issue.
- Support the Cyber Resilient Operations teams by acting as a L4 analyst on critical or complex situations
- Seek to assist Management in one or more technical service offerings within our cyber security practice
- Communicating (written and verbal) findings, recommendations, and other deliverables to the client including technical and business communication to management through the preparation of reports, presentations, analyses, and other deliverables
- Relationship and business development: taking an active role in the business community to increase awareness of the firm's services; developing and maturing relationships internally and staff and with clients and target clients; identifying and assisting in pursuit of opportunities; assisting in development of marketing materials, proposals, presentations and research
- Leading and contributing to other practice initiatives, including but not limited to knowledge sharing, training, and other activities.
- Providing guidance and oversight to more junior personnel.
- Help establish and promote KPMG's brand profile within the industry
+10 years of experience in Cyber Security solutions within mid to large level organizations
- Industry relevant(s) such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP or ITIL is an asset
- Experience and demonstrated success in business development activities, including the involvement in the relationship management, research and analysis, proposal writing etc.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to advise clients on relevant and cost-effective solutions aligned with their business needs;
- Experience evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of various control frameworks and standards, including understanding process level risks, technology risks, assessing the adequacy of mitigating controls and providing opportunities for enhancement;
- Experience in enterprise asset lifecycle management, with a strong understanding of relating security operations such as patch management, vulnerability management, security architecture, and endpoint management
- Experience and/or strong understanding of asset management challenges and supporting technologies, UEM solutions, patch deployment solutions and vulnerability identification tools for cloud and on-premises environment.
- Experience and/or strong understanding of cloud transformation, cloud architecture, and cloud security operations. • Experience leading and/or managing complex projects;
- Experience effectively communicate and present strategies, solutions, insights, and reports to a mix of stakeholders at various levels;
- Experience in a leadership role, providing engaged mentorship and knowledge sharing to the team and junior level consultants;
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline or relevant experience.
