AWS Snow family is responsible for the Snowcone, Snowball and Snowmobile. These collectively provide edge computing capabilities and exabyte-scale transfer for AWS customers. As a member of our team you will contribute to all aspects of the software life-cycle including design, development, testing, code reviews, and operations. On-Call Responsibility - This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week in every six. We don't like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our products are exceeding customer expectations. When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the issue and ensure that root cause is addressed systemically.

- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 2+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team
Experience in communicating with customers and other technical teams to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
