JOB DESCRIPTION: Key responsibilities of a Store Administrator include:
•The administration of all store accounting including accounts payables, accounts receivables, store sales and financial and productivity control reports, reconciliation of bank statements, internal audits, POS / MMS and other financial administration functions required to support achieving store objectives. •Additionally the administration of employee benefits, payroll, and maintenance employee files.
•Experience as a competent bookkeeper or intermediate accountant. •Is extremely organized and attentive to detail and accuracy. •Comfortable communicating in writing and verbally to all stakeholders. •Is a discreet individual with the ability to maintain confidentiality as required. •Able to prioritize, multi task, meet deadlines, and processes analytical skills and experience
WORK HOURS: Flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:
Successful applicants need to have an eye for detail, be comfortable creating and working from task lists, be able to monitor, adhere to and meet deadlines, flexible to unique and short term business needs and adjustments, have a strong understanding and the ability to apply debit and credit journal entries, possess strong verbal, written and email communication skills, and enjoy working as an integral part of a larger team (even though the majority of the role is independant).
The role is expected to require 8-12 hours weekly. Time and day of the week are generally flexible with a few exceptions provided a written schedule is discussed in advance.
