Our Fort McMurray location which is locally owned and operated has an exciting opportunity for a Store Manager to join their busy team.

When: Weekdays and Weekends (Overtime as required)

A day in the life of

 The Store Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the operations of the business.  This includes achieving desired revenue objectives, managing and addressing staffing requirements, and maintaining adequate inventory levels based on demand.  Strong communication skills, exceptional customer service, and a lead-by-example attitude are critical elements for success in this role. 

What you will be doing:

  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the store.
  • Manage staff and assign duties.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure products for resale.
  • Ensure that all goods and products are adequately stocked through inventory management.
  • Implement marketing strategies with the help from Corporate Office.
  • Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.
  • Address staffing requirements, including hiring, development, and retention of staff.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Office on Accounting, Payroll, IT, and Marketing issues. 
  • Collaborate with the Owners to establish revenue, expense, and profit goals.
  • Manage installation subcontractors.

 What we need from you:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • University degree or college diploma preferred.
  • Minimum of five years experience in the retail or customer service industry with an increasing level of responsibility.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
