Position Overview: This position is responsible for defining (architecting), developing, configuring, implementing and supporting computer applications with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity. They investigate and analyze problems or requirements from a business perspective and design a suitable solution through liaising with end users, software vendors and development staff.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in the delivery of technology solutions, providing expertise as required to all System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases from inception to implementation, with a strong focus on developing solutions that support OEM operations to achieve objectives
  • Analyze software problems, data issues, and workflows and recommend solutions
  • Collect and interpret data to support complex operational decisions
  • Prepare/maintain detailed support documentation for assigned business systems
  • Provide status reports and ensure escalation of issues as necessary
  • Ensure presentation of information is professional, timely and accurate
  • Change management compliance
  • Ensure that imperative specification and support documentation are understood by the reviewers, approvers and users of the material
  • Ensure that risks uncovered as part of the incident and problem management processes, within scope, are communicated and mitigated in a timely manner
  • Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and staff while maintaining confidentiality

  • Programming Experience or training in the following:
    • Microsoft SQL
    • Microsoft .NET Technologies (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET)
    • MVVM Methodology
    • Object Oriented programming
    • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
    • Crystal Reports

Education & Experience:
  • Graduated from a recognized Institute of Technology or University program in an appropriate specialty such as Computing Science, or a related field required
  • 0 - 3 Years development experience
