As the Training Coordinator for our Healthcare Portfolio you will be responsible implementing and delivering training programs for Paladin Security's operations specific to Alberta Health Services. This is a hands-on role that will require an individual who is capable of working in a team dynamic and individually to deliver our training programs throughout the province of Alberta. Ideally this position will be based out of our Red Deer office.

Job Skills / Requirements

• Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and executing all training and development programs for the Healthcare contract while devising overall training strategy in regards to business objectives
• Delivers companywide training courses using various training mediums. Specifically: employee handbooks, PowerPoint presentations, classroom sessions and e-learning modules
• Monitors, evaluates, and records training activities and program effectiveness at branches province wide
• Identifies training and development needs through needs analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources department
• Maintains a current library of training materials and programs, and conducts annual reviews of all training program content to determine effectiveness and accuracy
• Establishes and sustains effective relationships with branch employees
• Ensures Senior Management is kept informed of the progress of operations, while providing written reports to the Director of Healthcare as required
• Ensure students are appropriately informed about Code of Ethics, company policies and procedures, and OH&S procedures
• Complete the student assessment reports accurately, and observe all record management requirements of your position
• Ability to travel throughout Alberta as needed
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma; Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
• Instructor must be a certified trainer the following training programs: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), and Verbal Judo
• Working knowledge of Alberta Security Services and Investigators Act is an asset
• Must possess experience in Training and Development, experience in Security Training is an asset
• National Coaching certificate level 1 or 2 is an asset
• Demonstrated ability in curriculum development and delivery
• Excellent written and oral skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
• Strong computer skills; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Able to work effectively and efficiently in a deadline driven environment
• Strong time management, multitasking, problem solving, team work and organizational skills
• Must be outgoing, sociable, adaptable, and detail oriented
