You are a leader with a strong UX background who thrives in an environment that is continuously innovating – maintenance mode is not appealing to you. You enjoy leading and supporting teams as well as influencing the people and the environment around you. You have proven your ability to advise clients to help them achieve what they need to achieve – not necessarily what they thought they wanted to achieve.
This newly created role is an opportunity to report to a UX GM with a great reputation in the UX community while you lead a team of 4-8 senior UX professionals. You come from an enterprise software product environment or consulting and you would like to contribute to the trend to make B2B software look like consumer facing software.
Our client is an enterprise software product shop with Fortune 100 international clients and offices around the world. The Vancouver product team is approximately 150 people so you will enjoy a smaller team within a global company. They are currently focused on reinventing their products to meet the new demands of big data, cloud, mobile, and social. This is an opportunity to join a smart, team oriented group who take pride in their work environment.
What you need to have:
• Track record of advising internal or external clients on UX
• Proven ability to manage a team of 5-10 technical professionals
• Experience in an enterprise software product shop or consulting
• A strong technical background in UX
