A feasibility study completed in June 2014 and updated in December 2016 has outlined Proven and Probable mineral reserves in Brucejack’s Valley of the Kings comprising 8.1 million ounces of gold (15.6 million tonnes grading 16.1 grams per tonne gold). We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehousing Supervisor to join the Brucejack Gold Mine in Northwestern, British Columbia.    

Located approximately 65 kilometers from Stewart, you will report to the Site Mine Controller or designate, and work a rotating schedule encompassing 13 days on, 12 days off, plus 2 days of travel.

The Warehousing Supervisor will administer and oversee the warehousing functions to ensure all warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with set out processes, procedures, and internal guidelines under the direction of the Site Mine Controller, and coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Supervisor will assist in receiving, unpacking, inspecting, sorting, and distributing incoming supplies to allocated areas by using the necessary equipment on site. The Warehouse Technician will be licensed to operate a forklift and/or scissor-lift and will assist with movement of the goods within the warehouse or outside of the warehouse storage spaces when required.


  • Ensure all materials and resources are received safely and accounted for through proper delivery and storage practices, and procedures.
  • Receives incoming supplies, using JD Edwards warehouse management system. Checks the quality and quantity of goods against orders and invoices/packing slips and signs for all products accepted. Returns damaged or spoiled goods to supplier and completes related documents.
  • Actively participate in inventory management through accurate daily cycle counts, delivery of materials, and distribution of inventory items.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by warehouse and staging areas (including keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area) complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Supervises inventory issuing by ensuring requested items for maintenance work orders are processed and delivered in accordance with the procedures.
  • Supervise issuance of inventory items from over the counter requests by ensuring issue slips are properly filled out, coded, and entered in JD Edwards on a timely basis.
  • Ability to learn and operate forklift, and other off-loading equipment.
  • Examine and inspect items for wear defects, reporting any damage to the Brucejack Warehouse Supervisor, as well as completing necessary forms.


  • Successful completion of a related Degree or Diploma with a minimum seven (7) years of related industry experience in warehousing, materials and/or inventory management.
  • Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably JD Edwards software.


Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency with computers, particularly database management
  • Outstanding mathematical skills
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Self-motivated, independent worker requiring little or no supervision
  • Exhibits honest and ethical behavior, being careful to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks
  • Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
