About the Role
Newlands Systems is growing fast and has multiple vacancies for Welders/Fabricators to join the team in Abbotsford, BC. Specifically, we are seeking individuals to work the afternoon shift (10-hour shift starting at 2:30pm, Monday to Thursday with the opportunity for overtime on Fridays). Day shifts may be available in the future.
Working in a custom shop environment, so you will be responsible for operating TIG or GTAW welding equipment to weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as fabricate and assemble structural metal products in accordance with job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
In this role, you will be working on brewery and winery fermenters, tanks, brew kettles, tuns, process piping and other accessories- so your ability to work with light gauge tubing and process piping is essential. Those from the food industry or a brewery/winery equipment manufacturing environment strongly encouraged to apply.
