The Opportunity
Shape the Future of Aviation - Join our team as an Intermediate Aviation Planner and help deliver transformative airport and heliport projects across Canada. From runway rehabilitations and terminal upgrades to heliport developments and strategic planning, you'll play a key role in shaping safe, efficient, and sustainable aviation infrastructure for communities nationwide.
Your Impact
- Analyze transportation data and conduct aviation studies to guide airport capacity, demand solutions, and operational planning.
- Develop airport master plans, land use strategies, terminal layouts, and zoning initiatives for sustainable growth.
- Utilize advanced planning and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, CAST, AviPlan) to create layouts and technical drawings.
- Perform aeronautical impact assessments, meteorological studies, and construction operation plans.
- Prepare proposals, technical memos, graphics, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Deliver presentations and facilitate public consultation events to engage stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, and airport operators.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- University degree or college diploma in planning, transportation engineering, or aviation management.
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in aviation planning.
- In-depth knowledge of airport airside, landside, and terminal operations.
- Familiarity with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), TP312 (4th & 5th Editions), TP1247, ICAO Airport Planning Manual.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Civil 3D and aviation planning tools is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel for short assignments.

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
