As Hydrogeology Group Manager, you'll drive strategic growth, mentor top talent, and deliver impactful solutions that matter to clients and the environment. Your Impact
  • Champion safety and compliance, ensuring all activities meet WSP standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing hydrogeology team through mentorship, development, and clear performance guidance.
  • Oversee project lifecycles to ensure timely, on-budget delivery that meets technical and regulatory standards.
  • Strengthen client relationships by delivering exceptional service and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Manage group performance, including resourcing, recruitment, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve integrated project success.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A degree in geoscience or engineering with a hydrogeology focus, plus 10-15 years of consulting experience in hydrogeology or water resources.
  • Professional registration in BC/YT or eligibility to obtain within one year.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in hydrogeology and commitment to continuous development.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and compliance practices.
  • Proven leadership experience in team development, performance management, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
  • Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and achieving performance targets.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive under deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.

Compensation
  • BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $132,700 - $175,800
  • MB & ON: $121,100 - $166,700
  • Atlantic Provinces & QC: $119,900 - $159,200
