The Opportunity
Build the Future with Us - Join our Major Projects group within WSP's Energy, Resources and Industry (ERI) sector, supporting clients across Canada in delivering complex, high-value mining, energy, industrial and power projects. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end procurement activities that keep project schedules on track and ensure seamless execution from bid preparation to PO closeout.
Your Impact
- Apply procurement expertise to deliver client-specific solutions aligned with project needs.
- Lead bid activities: prepare and issue RFQs, develop bid lists, support evaluations, and conduct negotiations.
- Drive purchasing execution by issuing POs and PRs, managing change orders, and ensuring timely closeout.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Team Leads, and client procurement representatives to maintain schedule alignment.
- Resolve procurement challenges quickly-identify slippages, mitigate delays, and clearly communicate impacts.
- Manage complex packages across Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Controls disciplines.
- Track fabrication progress, expedite documentation, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Produce accurate reports and maintain organized documentation throughout procurement phases.
- Support or mentor junior team members as required.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in an EPCM environment within energy, mining, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and comfort working with ERP and supply-chain systems.
- Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Resourceful, organized, and solution-oriented, thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to prioritize, adapt, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced project setting.

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
