What We Do in Alberta:
- Design and commission innovative building envelope systems.
- Assess and report on the condition of buildings, parkades, and sites.
- Conduct reserve fund studies for condos and communities.
- Lead remediation and rehabilitation projects for all building types.

What you can expect to do here:
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, sub-consultants, and colleagues to deliver innovative building science solutions.
- Lead and conduct site reviews during construction, ensuring quality and sustainability in building projects.
- Assess and report on the condition of buildings, parkades, and sites, providing actionable insights for clients.
- Drive remediation and rehabilitation projects for a variety of building types, making a tangible difference in communities.
- Apply sustainable thinking and best practices to every project, contributing to a greener future.
- Share knowledge and support the growth of the Building Science practice through mentorship and participation in our Centres of Excellence (COE) program.
- A degree or diploma in Building Science Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline-or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering or construction, with a focus on building systems design, consulting, renewal, or advisory roles.
- Knowledge of building materials and construction processes for building envelopes, cladding systems, roofs, and parking structures.
- Experience with Building Condition Assessments and/or Reserve Fund Study reporting.
- Registration with APEGA or ASET is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites within Western Canada and the North, with flexibility for extended or varied hours as needed.
