As a Project Controls Coordinator within our Transportation team, you will support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects across Western Canada. You'll help drive financial stewardship, cost and schedule control, and project governance-ensuring our teams stay aligned, informed, and able to shape the communities around us.
Your Impact
- Implement project controls plans that meet contractual, budgetary, and schedule requirements.
- Support baseline development including budgets, work breakdown structures, and earned value tracking.
- Maintain accurate project reporting-planned value, actual costs, earned value, and schedule performance.
- Identify, document, and escalate deviations from baseline plans to prevent cost or schedule impacts.
- Assess change impacts and support the update of estimates and project forecasts.
- Serve as liaison between project controls, PMs, engineering teams, and subconsultants.
- Prepare reporting packages for project leadership and corporate stakeholders.
- Coordinate invoicing cycles, billing drafts, and subconsultant receivables.
- Assist with meeting coordination-agendas, minutes, action follow-up.
- Contribute to monthly progress reports and project governance documentation.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in project management, finance, business, engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project controls experience, ideally within engineering or infrastructure environments.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, ProjectWise, and/or SharePoint is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and effective at navigating ambiguity and change.
- Skilled in organizing information, prioritizing work, and supporting multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500
- MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
