What will your typical day look like?
In general, in this role as a Workplace services professional, you will be:
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients and guests, providing a warm, professional welcome at our newly built flagship Calgary location
• Organizing meeting room bookings and collaborating with event teams to ensure a professional and seamless experience for clients
• Greeting internal and external clients
• Registering visitors and managing access as required
• Answering and directing calls
• Managing desk bookings through our reservation system
• Coordinating parking for qualified parkers, including onboarding, changes, and liaising with building management and vendors
• Monitoring team shared email accounts and action items accordingly and as per established protocols
• Assisting with Health and Safety activities including First Aid and Floor warden duties (training will be provided)
• Assisting with other duties within the WS team as required. (including but not limited to mailroom, print and facilities)
• Collaborate with other reception staff both in Calgary and across regions to provide a seamless experience

The Workplace Services team delivers seamless office support across reception, mail & print services, facilities management, catering and health & safety. Our professionals combine operational excellence with a hospitality mindset to create a welcoming, efficient, and safe environment for our clients and our people.

You are someone with these required skills, experience & qualifications:
• 3-4 years minimum of work experience in an office environment, customer service or hospitality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, iOS devices and familiarity with booking/visitor management software. Quick to learn new systems and tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, client-focused environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to take proactive measures to ensure timely responses to requests
• High attention to detail and a task-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach
• A professional appearance and demeanor
• Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
• Flexibility with work hours to support the needs of the business (core hours of the role are 7:00am - 3:30pm).
• This role is 100% onsite, in-office Monday - Friday
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $33,000 - $60,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
