Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Vancouver, BC, (Remote)
Salary: $80,000 – 105,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety, ownership, and working with multiple clients. You’ll manage full‑cycle accounting for a small portfolio, ensure accurate financial reporting, support junior team members, and help strengthen internal processes. ⭐ What You’ll Be Doing

Managing month‑end close and preparing reliable financial statements
Maintaining working papers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Coordinating payroll and compliance requirements for assigned clients
Handling day‑to‑day accounting including journal entries, AR/AP, and related tasks
Providing guidance to junior staff to support their development and ensure consistent quality
Bring an solutions orientated mindset, constantly identifying opportunities to build efficiencies, improve processes and automate.

⭐ Qualifications

CPA designation
Solid experience with full‑cycle accounting and month‑end processes
Comfort with payroll platforms and compliance requirements
Strong Excel abilities including analysis and data organization
Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards; cross‑border exposure is helpful
Experience with cloud‑based accounting software
Interest in improving processes and working efficiently
