The Opportunity

Build the Future With Us - Join our Mining & Metals team and help shape the next generation of mining projects in Canada and abroad. As a Junior Mining EIT, you'll collaborate with experienced engineers and geoscientists to support mine planning, technical studies, and design work that leads to safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations.

Your Impact

• Participate in engineering design reviews for underground and open-pit mining projects.
• Evaluate new technologies, mining methods, and operational improvements.
• Analyze data and contribute to selecting appropriate mine design parameters.
• Support the development of PEA, PFS, FS, and other technical study deliverables.
• Assist in preparing proposals, cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Use mine design and scheduling tools-including Deswik-to support project execution.
• Gather budgetary pricing and vendor information for equipment and engineering inputs.
• Provide modelling, reporting, and field-based support to project managers.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 1-8 years of mining engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with mine design and scheduling; Deswik experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with oil sands mine design considered beneficial.
• Ability to thrive in field, office, and site-based environments as needed.
• Strong initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality work.

Compensation

• BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $73,400 - $97,200
• MB & ON: $67,000 - $92,200
• Atlantic Provinces & QC: $66,300 - $88,000
